Oscar de la Renta

After swooning over Elie Saab (whom I always thought was a lady designer because of the name)'s gown, I proceeded to drool over Oscar's.

Oscar de la Renta is yet another fashion designer well known for his beautiful creations. I am not a fashion expert and neither am I super into fashion but pretty dresses, that I know how to admire.

Oscar is no young man at 81 years old. A Domincan, one of the few couturiers to have had the privileged to dress Jackie O, wife of the famed 35th American President, John F. Kennedy. In current times, he designs gorgeous gowns worn by celebrities on the red carpet and of course, anyone who can afford his elegant, high fashioned gowns.

Now, why can't awesome dresses like the below be more affordable to the general population? More like, people like me?

Imagine me waltzing to office in the many gorgeous gowns below. Hilarious. Ok. Imagine waltzing down one's wedding banquet in such gowns... definitely have everyone gushing about the dress.

Of course, having the right figure makes a difference, too. Dang it!

love the colour!!

can hardly go wrong with black that oozes with class and elegance

Used to be a silver fan over gold but now, gold's my colour

Simple and yet, beautiful. Imagine black and cream or black and red...

Gorgeous Elie Saab dresses

I was on Pintrest last night. For those who are living under the rock and have no idea what Pintrest is about, shame on you. Ok. I kid. Pintrest is a content sharing service that allows members to pin images on their pinboard. There are hoards of awesome pictures on fashion, hairstyles, crafts, wedding related, DIY and so on.

So, last evening saw me clicking picture after picture pinning them onto my board. Not sure about you but when I start, it takes me a loooong while before I successfully tear myself away from Pintrest to do something more concrete. Errr.. like watch series. *hehe*

Seem to lose my mojo for doing craft stuff anyways.

Back to Pintrest. As I was engrossed 'pin'ing pictures, I came across bevy of ladies decked out in breathtaking dresses. Well, my breath was taken. Not sure if yours will be.

Immediately, I knew it was by Elie Saab, the Lebanese fashion designer. I've always had a thing for his dreamy collection from last year and 2011. His 2013 collection seems more 'modern' and edgy, not exactly my style.

He had an impressive start in career launching his Beirut based fashion label at a mere age of 18 with a team of 15 people under him. Wow. You can read more about him here. And gosh, my jaw just dropped looking at the sale price of his dresses, shoes and what not here.

Well, since I can't afford his dresses, I can only swoon and dream of his gorgeous dresses. Really talented man. Love the whimsical feel of his designs with glimmering crystal beads. Princessy royalty look.

Ooooh.. to be able to own such marvelous and beautiful creation.

And yup, I pinned them all on my Pintrest board. :)

X Factor Australia : Nathaniel given the boot

Is X Factor Australia now considered a joke? What are people thinking when they vote?? Who on earth are the looneys voting?? Why are people still watching?? and will people stop watching?

I think majority would.

After yesterday's shock, many are outraged. The week before, haters were hating Bella. This week, we're dumbfounded at the bottom twos.

It's incredulous!! and in a bad way.

Because that is what most of us are thinking after yesterday's shocking bottom two - Nathaniel Williamse and Samantha Jones, definitely the two stronger vocalist on the competition.

The crowd really, really loves Bella and Jason and Shiane, somehow.

Bella Ferraro has personality but her voice is really shaky when she sings. Either that or she doesn't have voice control yet. Initially, I was wondering, "why is she still in the top finalist?" "It's time for her to go."

But week after week, despite being in the bottom twos before, she's managed to pull through. What I think redeemed her was her last two performances which were better than her earlier ones, that's for sure. However, in comparison to Nathaniel and Samantha? It's plain for all to see who has better vocals and stage performance.

Or at least, I thought it was plain to see.

Jason started out in need of grooming and erm, to be less country bumpkin ish. But I reckon that's his charm. He does seem to have a really pleasant, jovial personality or at least, that's the impression I get from the media.

I think MelB needs to give him better songs to sing though. What were they thinking with Taylor Swift's song last week??! MelB should give Jason a song to showcase his voice, his potential. And his styling needs some erm... better styling!

Shiane Hawke is a sweet 14 year old with a big voice. But at this point, for me, she's just that... a 14 year old with a unique voice. I don't deny she's got a really special voice and I reckon she could be the next Adele. However, I think her lack of  life experiences is her handicap. And it's obvious as she struggles to sing with emotions depicted and required in the lyrics.

Often than naught, she ends up delivering her songs in a lackluster performance looking like she's worried, nervous, tense and awkward, at times. Nat has got to give her some younger songs... some fun, loving songs that she can enjoy and sing well. If not, give her some simple but soulful song to sing. Despite that, she's still in week after week.

So, why was Nathaniel and Samantha were at the bottom two?

Well, some says Nathaniel's case was probably due to him admitting on Monday night on national TV that he's not single. And there goes his female fans. Out the door. Besides that, I can't see what other reason there possibly could be.

As for Samantha, she's had her run. She's had singles produced but somehow, she's just not made it. She's got great vocals, stage presence and good fashion sense (minus the weird middle hair parting highlighting her high and huge forehead), so why hasn't she become famous? Or made it to the top? Hmmm.. I think it's cos she lacks personality. She's too... nice... and forgettable.

But she chose well with Etta James' classic 'At Last' for her 'save yourself' performance. She sang the song beautifully and based on that performance, despite my liking and supporting Nathaniel, I felt she deserved to go on to to next week.

Although vocally not as strong, Bella stands out. And in my opinion, that's why she's still around.

Next week, will Sammie be at the bottom two again? I think she might be if she doesn't start showing us MORE of her and I don't mean more flesh.

At the end of the day, when it comes to voting for anything, sad to say, it ends up a personality contest more than a real contest on talent or merits.

Make Natasha Yap our own Malaysian Youtube Star!

You must be wondering who on earth is Natasha Yap...

Wong Fu Productions ring a bell. Joseph Vincent and even the Jayeslee sisters but Natasha?

Who is that??! Siapa perempuan ini??

Well, I came across her own composition, "If you would" from Sarahktw's blog. Natasha's voice is clear, sweet and interestingly good for a Malaysian unless the person recording, Sue is doing an amazing job of enhancing Natasha's voice. LOL.

Check out the song and tell me what you think. The song's lyrics may be simple but it still is sweet and relatable. Looking at her, she actually reminds me of my friend, YC's girlfriend. LOL.

If you're not convinced of her potential, check out her rendition of The Band Perry's "If I die young". I hope to see more covers from her and who knows... she might appear on Ellen Degeneres show. After all, other Youtube stars such as Joseph Vincent have appeared on her show and won 10,000 dollars from the talent competition.

We're always so busy supporting people from other countries, paying bucket loads of cash for their songs and tickets to see them but we tend to forget that we have our very own local talent in need of our support.

In recent years, there's been a steady increase in talent such as stand up comedians Douglas Lim, Quah Jen Han and Phoon Chi Ho, wedding photographers & videographers and off late, interesting production of short clips and singing from independent individuals.

So, do your bit, check this girl out and if you like her singing... leave a comment to encourage her and spread the clip. ;)

Hope to hear more of her and from her! And kudos to Sue for the well done video clip for "If you would". I like how she zooms in and out, focuses on Natasha and parts of it, on the guitar etc.

Nicole Kiss or Dawn Yang?

This is a super random post.

Just blog hopping at this super crazy hour and came across Nicole's "New Year Eve Look" post. Somehow, her facial features reminded me of somebody else's. Not that I really follow her blog... just every once in awhile. It used to be interesting regarding her travels around the world but off late, it feels like yet another blogger's online diary of ramblings. ;p

(Oooh fans of hers, please, no flaming here. Just stating my opinion and nothing disparaging about her ya.)

Nicole, looking sexy. Lols.

Anyways, back to her looking like someone and it hit me. She looks a little bit like...

...........................................

....................................

..............................

none other than the infamous DAWN YANG!!

Yay or Nay?? Lols. Somehow the eyes seem to be bigger than before, the nose bridge looks slimmer etc.

I think for most who have been following both their blogs through the years will agree they both do look different from years ago. Maybe it's the make up and all. Or they've lost weight. Then again, maybe it's just my poor eyesight! LOL!

Note : if you haven't the faintest idea who one earth are Nicole (Malaysian) or Dawn (Singaporean), Google them, otherwise, click on their links. That's only if you are interested.

Oh well, she still looks pretty ish.

I am sure with all their 'prettiness', comes a hefty price. People are forever talking about all kinds of things about them, not necessarily good. I've heard a thing or two but since I don't know either on a personal level, let's just say, we shouldn't judge a book by its cover and be quick to judge. After all, let the man without sin, cast the first stone.

No one's perfect. They've made their choices in life and maybe, going public for the world to read isn't exactly a smart move but I am sure they bear with the consequences and who knows? They regret the mistakes they make. I am sure you do too. After all, what you sow, you will reap. It's always just a matter of when... a matter of time where it comes back to bite you.

So, cut them some slack. They're humans just like you and me! ;)

Romantic Internet Memes wedding proposal goes viral: Nuffnang founder proposes to gf

Picture taken from FourFeetNine.com

Click the above link if you haven't seen how Timothy Tiah , Nuffnang founder proposes to his long term girlfriend, Audrey Ooi otherwise known by her moniker, FourFeetNine. He definitely raised the bar for all boyfriends intending to propose.

Apparently, according to news, even Kathy Perry asked Russell Brand 'why he no do such proposal' for her.

They're both cute in their own ways. I don't mean Kathy and Russell. I was referring to Timothy and Audry. If you have been following their blogs, you'd know that he was previously known as Wombat, now, Fatty. She used to be called Princess but now, Shorty.

I love reading their blogs as they share bits and pieces of their personal life regarding work, friends and each other and it is the way they narrate their stories and infuse their own style of writing.

From past posts, it is plain for all and sundry to take note that Timothy has a romantic tendency right from the very beginning. He is the kind of guy who takes notice what his girl likes and would love and he just makes the effort. Anything else from that, I really don't know much about him to say anything further. She, on the other hand defines the word cute. Her blog is cute, she tells her stories in a cute manner and she looks cute! LOL.

I wish them all the best in wedding planning and based on their blogs, it is safe to say that their wedding is definitely going to be the works; it'll be different, grand and beautiful!

And may the rest of their lives and journey together be as different, grand and beautiful! ;)

Christina Perri sings Jar of Hearts

I reckon Christina Perri is MORE awesome than Adele. Then again, it's just my humble opinion, so no need to bash me up over my opinion that no one probably gives two hoots about. LOL.

I know that Mr. C is a great fan of Adele's music. Keeps asking me to play her songs on the music player! Bleh. Yup. Sometimes, the little green monster rears its head unnecessarily.

No, I can't take one more step towards you
‘Cause all that's waiting is regret
Don't you know I'm not your ghost anymore
You lost the love I loved the most

I learned to live, half alive
And now you want me one more time

[Chorus:]
Who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Who do you think you are?

I hear you're asking all around
If I am anywhere to be found
But I have grown too strong
To ever fall back in your arms

I've learned to live, half alive
And now you want me one more time

[Chorus]

It took so long just to feel alright
Remember how to put back the light in my eyes
I wish I had missed the first time that we kissed
‘Cause you broke all your promises
And now you're back
You don't get to get me back

Who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
Don't come back for me
Don't come back at all

Who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
Don't come back for me
Don't come back at all

Who do you think you are?
Who do you think you are?
Who do you think you are?

Gary Chao 曹格 世界唯一的你

Been listening to sappy love chinese songs on Youtube for the past hour and came across this one once again. So poignant, so romantic.

Many of us wish for this kind of love and many have promised such feeling but how many can really deliver? Sadly, not many.

This is the second song from Gary Chao's 2nd album, 格格 Blue.

"He drew inspiration from his pet kitty who made him find the meaning to his existence at a time where he was very depressed."

As mentioned HERE and this is where the lyrics and meaning were taken from.

Jack Vidgen : the next Justin Bieber?

I watched the semifinals of Australia's Got Talent last night on Channel 7 and was wowed by a 14 year old, Jack Vidgen who hails from Manly, Sydney, when he sang "And I am telling you I am not going" from the 2006 musical- Dream Girls.

Not only did he nailed it, he aced it!! And that's with my bulu romas all giving him a standing ovation!!

I don't doubt Kyle Sandilands when he said that Jack could easily win this competition. Dannii Minogue claims that he is mind blowing where else Brian McFadden kissed Jack on the cheeks although Jack was hoping to get one from Dannii!!

The audition... singing "I have nothing" by Whitney Houston...

AND this is his interview with Channel 7's Today Tonight...

You can check out last night's singing HERE that lead to a standing ovation from the crowd and ALL three judges!!

He has been liken to Justin Bieber and is dubbed 'Australia's Justin Bieber'... He's tiny and his hair style does reflect a bit of Justin Bieber's before he had a haircut. I like the fact that he appears to be humble and childlike. However, with the impending fame and fortune, one can only hope it doesn't get to his head.

Well, only time will tell but even if (hypothetically, which I doubt it) this little dude doesn't win the competition, he'll still be snagged up by some producer... that's the beauty of the opportunities that we have in this current generation. L

You can request for free tickets to the show at australiasgottalent.com.au. I have and I hope to get mine!! Wheee....

Charice Pempengco on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (FULL!!!)

Last night, I was just watching clips after clips of this young, talented Phillipino that shot to stardom with her goosebumps inducing powerful voice - Charice Pempengco.

It's just amazing seeing this young girl singing from such a young age to holding out on her own, belting out super powerful songs sung by other equally powerful voices such as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, to name a few and without going off pitch!

Great talent for one so young and tiny.

You should listen to her singing 'Listen' from Dream Girls in her appearance in Glee.

The above was good but her rendition below was even better... more strong. More powerful. I keep using the P word but seriously, I am at loss for words coupled with the constant bulu roma standing ovation every time I hear her sing, especially this song.

Beyonce sang it superbly in Dream Girls and Charice did it justice, if not excellent.

She held her notes, even the high and impossible ones. Believe me, I tried in karaoke only to fail miserably, falling flat on my face. =p I need to learn to sing the correct manner.

And I believe, this is one of the many reasons why we should train/teach our kids from an early age.

Flash mob and The Black Eyed Peas on Oprah's Show in Chicago

Imagine having such a mob flash of this magnitude in Malaysia or in Brisbane!! I would definitely love to be a part of such an event. =)

Rihanna / Emineme , Taio Cruz and Katy Perry all in one

Came across this mash up of three songs - Love the way you lie by Rihanna featuring Eminem, Taio Cruz's Dynamite and Tennage Dreams by Katy Perry.

Sounds pretty good except till the end where he really mashed all the songs up, singing them together. That's when it got a little messy IMHO.

Still, 3 song in 1, not bad.

Me? 1 song? It would take a miracle. =p

I want to watch MACC again!!!

I went to watch them banter, entertain and deliver early this year as blogged over HERE and I hope to get tickets to watch them this round!! Although Malaysians are not exactly famous for their wit nor humour, these three guys definitely won't disappoint their audiences. I have a feeling it's gonna rock your socks off that's for sure.

Recommended for the depressed and downtrodden and definitely for those that are in need of some hearty laughter!

SO, fingers and toes crossed!!!

Sex and the City

I was just browsing my old blog the other day and came across this post on Sex and The City, the first movie.

sex and the city

December 12, 2008 at 12:28 am (reviews) (, ) · Edit
charlotte, samantha, carrie and miranda
charlotte, samantha, carrie and miranda
i watched “Sex and the city” last weekend on dvd and was rather surprised that i liked it! i watched it with low expectations having read online the poor reviews although there were some ppl who raved how good the show was. well, i was surprised at the amount of shocking bits showcasing several nude scenes and imind u.. it’s not those parts that i liked ok. ppl having a go at it and if u haven’t a clue as to what i m referring to… BLESS YOU for still having a pure heart and mind!!
basically, i liked the story line which evolves around 4 friends (i wish i had this kind of friends meet up etc kind of friendship!) and the different love aspects in each of their lives. The lines were witty and appealing at times yet of course crude the other times. The way Mr. Big proposed to Carrie at the ending part was just le sigh
the wedding
the wedding
seriously, if my bf ever proposed in such a super-duper romantic way, i swear i won’t nag/lecture/scold him for a year no matter what!! ok ok.. realistically speaking, 6months!
FIRST PROPOSAL Mr. Big went about it as if it was a business proposal- simple, concise and straight to the point! i was disgusted and probably would bludgeon my bf if he ever propose in such a fashion! Here’s the conversation that lead to the “proposal”…
Mr. Big: What do you think, kid?
Carrie Bradshaw: Why… do you want to get married?
Mr. Big: I want you. So. Okay
Carrie Bradshaw: Well, I wouldn’t mind being married to you. Would you mind being married to me?
Mr. Big: No, if that’s what you want? Is that what you want?
Carrie Bradshaw: We’re getting married.
Mr. Big: Should we get you a diamond?
Carrie Bradshaw: No, please, don’t get me a diamond… get me a really big closet.
i can’t find the quotes for the second proposal.. where he did it right and on one bended knee! it’s old school and perhaps a tad cliche yet so classic!
sex-and-the-city
sex-and-the-city
well, i would like a diamond ring and a really BIG closet!! =p
So, go watch the show but do forward the “18sx” scenes (man, i dunno how ppl are so unabashed with nudity.. i know we come from the cavemen times… but still????!!!) … however, i bet u probably would just watch it! tsk tsk…
rate: 4/5
ps: ok. i admit, those nude ppl do have “nice”looking bodies. ok. at least they look better than mine! perhaps that’s why they’re ok with the whole wide world seeing them in their bday suit! i mean can u imagine seeing danny devito in the nude or kennysia(no offense meant!) or even perez hilton?? well, not that any of us want to imagine lar.. but u get what i mean.

Book Review : Dear John

I read this book "Dear John" before I came to Brissie. It is written by Nicholas Sparks whereby many of his novels were adapted into movies. Famous movies in fact such as "A walk to remember" starring Mandy Moore and "The Notebook" that starred Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

It took me awhile to finish Dear John. It wasn't cause it was uninteresting and not a page turner but more so that the whole tone of the book was just sad even up to the end.

And if you really knew me, you would know by now that I loooove happy ending books and movies. I dislike sad endings mainly cause I feel that's how it is in real life. It's what I would call- reality. Not many people get to attain the fairytale happily ever after romance we often see in the movies.

Hence, I am hesitating if I should watch this movie. After all, I know how it's going to end. Then again, they have Channing Tatum as the main actor. And if you've read my blog, you would know what I think of him. Definitely droolworthy material. He also acted in Step Up 1 and 2, just in case you were wondering as to why he looks familar.

The movie however has a different ending to the book. It is a happy ending version. So, who knows, I might just catch it after all. And that will be after watching Ipman2, Ironman2, Letters to Juliet, Robin Hood and OMG... I wonder if I'll even have the time to catch them all or even any.

Stay tune for movie and book reviews.

Concert virgin, no more!

31st October 2009 proved to be a really eventful day.

First off, I had dim sum for brunch with a bunch of amusing colleagues at Damansara Jaya. Correction: ex-colleagues. I still find it strange, always referring to them as such. And when people ask me what am I doing or plan to do, I'll always quipped, "Working in KPMG" to only realised a second after that I NO longer worked there thus leading me to add that I have resigned.

It was great to meet up with the ex-colleagues. Although we were supposed to meet at 10am, being typical Malaysians, majority came AFTER that... 10.15am, 10.30am and even close to 11am!!

Except for Raj, of course, who was on time, followed by me! This was the "queue". People awaiting their turn for a table. I still don't get what is so great about this Dim Sum shop. I rather go to Summer Palace anytime for their sluuurpilicious custard egg dumpling aka liu sha pao that I blogged before.

I love the Siew Mai (Pork & prawn dumpling) and the delectable Polo Pao (think it's custard bun). And with that, Chinese tea is a definite must-have to wash down all the ajinamoto and oil!!

Normally, a variety of tea is available like Xiang Pian in Mandarin (Heong Pin in Cantonese for Jasmine but literal meaning is fragrant piece), Pu er tea which is more bitter, Ti Gun Yam (The Goddess of Mercy tea) or even Guk Fa (Chrysanthemum) to name a few, but my usual preference is still Heong Pin.

I gave the Liu Sha Pao a chance. However, although the Liu Sha Pao's inner filling didn't taste terribly but neither did it taste superbly heavenly as Summer Palace's. I didn't like the fact that the bottom bit was gooey and stuck to the papercup. Hence, hard to extract and consume it without the filling oozing all over my hands!

Next up, after brunch, I had my Karaoke session with Gill at Redbox, The Curve. We decided to go as we had a buy 1 free 1 voucher from our last Karaoke Session and it was til 31st October 2009. However, we made a mistake of going for Happy Hour instead of K-Lunch but that was one of the condition of utilising the voucher.

For Happy Hour, it is compulsory to pay RM9 for Fa Shang (Nuts) but BOTH of us don't eat nuts. It would definitely be S.T.U.P.I.D to pay for something we both weren't going to eat. Hence, we asked if they offered anything else and looked at WHAT we paid RM9 for in the below picture!!!

Anyways, we sang our hearts out from 2.30pm til 4.55pm. We were Celine Dion, Peabo Bryson for the day. Or rather, for a few minutes! =p

This is our second bad experience at the Curve branch where we didn't get to sing up to our allocated time! Even if it's 10minutes or 5 minutes left, we still paid for it, you get what I mean?? The first time we went, something similar happened. Read about it HERE.

After a not-so-satisfying-ending to our karaoke session, I dropped her home and went back to get ready for All American Reject's (AAR) concert. Some wonderful person (PB) took foooorever to come and get me. Ish. At a point, I was about to say, let's just skip it.

But seeing that I got the tickets for free and I had never been to an actual group concert, I just had to go. Despite anything and everything. Shouldn't have said that cos on our way there, it started pouring really heavily! PB(petbro) and I were thinking of making a U-turn back to PJ to watch a movie instead. Cos rain = yucky, icky concert.

However, like I said, since I haven't been to a concert, he said, we should just go for it. And if we wanted to, we could always leave earlier.

When we reached Bukit Jalil, the roads were dry. It didn't rain!! Which can be a good thing and yet not...

This was the extremely loooong line to the main entrance.

Oops. didn't managed to get the PUBLIC part...

From the outside, looking inside to where the stage was set up- at Carpark A.

Still a looong way more.. but the line was moving at a pretty fast pace. So, no complains.

We were initially further to the back and then,
we decided to move forward a bit to the mid point of the crowd.

This guy was really enjoying himself!
and this was before AAR came on.

As it started drizzling, we headed to the car for the umbrella. Saw this Uncle jumping up and down. Happening uncle, right?? Brought his son for the concert. I don't think many people would have wanted to go with their parents to a concert like this. The boy looked like he is in his primary school days. So, guess beggars can't be choosers!

Before AAR, they had 3 local bands performing.

Pop Shuvit

One Buck Shot

Disagree

No offense to them but the Crowd came for the main act, AAR and it took them FOREVER to come on stage! PB and I thought that by coming late, we would have skipped the local band's performance.

Although late by 1 hour, we still were in time for ALL 3 band's songs. Ish. From 7pm ish til 9pm, they did their best to entertain the crowd. In between, there were some freebies giveaway. Obviously, with laws of gravity, those standing outside the moshpit never get any freebies that were being flung off stage!

And finally about 9.15pm, they got off stage as we waited for AAR...

9.30pm and still, we waited...

and waited...

Lots of people were getting rather restless. There was 2 huge projector screen up front that was playing some video clips of Miley Cyrus song, Black Eyed Peas' and after it repeating for like 6-9times or more, people starting boooing. I joined in, too!

Can't blame them. Initially, I thought the songs were nice and catchy but after listening to it for like a billion times, one does get rather sick of it. Bleh.

And finally about 9.45pm... finally...

Tyson and his gang graced us with their presence up on stage!

He was all decked out in his Native American headgear in conjunction with Halloween's.

Tyson has great showmanship that's for sure. Definitely an entertainer. He was rather gay in his mannerisms, often going off on a high pitch somewhat whiny voice. Maybe he's not out of the closet, yet. Someone commented that he's rather whiny but I think that's just part of his on stage persona. One things for sure is that, he was definitely high that night!

My cousin had meet-and-greet passes after the concert and even took pictures with him! Mean of her not to invite me but nah... I am cool with it. =p Just complaining for fun!

People were really jumping and singing especially to AAR's more well known hits like "Swing Swing", "Move Along", "I wanna", "Dirty little Secret" and of course, "It ends tonight". Piano playing was a.w.e.s.o.m.e for that song! As for the drummer, I think I have a calling to be one. *haha*

PB was enjoying himself singing on top of his lungs. Didn't managed to catch him on video. He kept dodging. Oh yeah, we met up with 2 other high school friends. Both of them were more subdue. *hehe*

I did jump/groove a bit to some songs. Let's just say I didn't really do my homework before I went and only knew bits and pieces of the lyrics to only some of the songs>_< But it really feels good to sing with the crowd and jump! And I don't feel my age! *haha*

AAR ended their concert with "Gives you hell". Honestly speaking, the tune of their songs are catchy but if you dig into the lyrics, let's just say, my mum might have banned me from going to the concert although I ain't a teen anymore.

The crowd from center up to the back where the main entrance was.

Last but not least, thanks to Digi for the so-called-free tickets!!
