When I said- MACC, I wasn't referring to the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission. I was referring to the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians.
It was extremely h.i.l.l.a.r.i.o.us!
Laughed the whole 2 hours to the point of back aching and lack of breathe.
It was that good.
I saw the banner at Jaya 1 a week ago and was rather interested in it but then I figured I had plenty more time to decide. Then, it was on Friday that I read on Audrey's blog about how she went for the stand up comedian and she highly recommended it or rather one of the comedians asked her to promote it. =p
So, I asked around and in the end, my mum, aunt, 2 siblings, cousin & cousin's friend went for it and everyone had a very good laugh. Or many of it.
Some bits were a tad crude but I guess that's the way of humour these days. It was outrageously entertainings at certain points such as when ladydrivers were dissed by Chee Ho to the tune of "Hey Delilah" and Chinese were poke fun through Doughlas Lim's "Yellow" song to Beyonce's "Hello".
All races were made fun of. No stone was left unturned. All were poked fun at. From the latest "happenings" in our country such as the Allah hoorah to the cow and wild boar head episodes and even to our 'beloved' politicians.
It's good that we can sit back and laugh about it. Cos at the end of the day, it's better to have a laugh then to get upset at matters that are out of our control.
Definitely going to attend more of this kind of plays.
