Despite the below... I still miss home.
It's been more than a week since I've been here. Somewhat settling down with a rough routine with Mr. Bf. But this past few days have been an annoyance as I've been hit with red, blotchy spots that itch the craziness out of me!
The Bf suspects it's due to some allergic reaction to either something I ate or perhaps his detergent. However, I think it could possibly be due to bed bug bites! My Bf sees me scratching like an itchy monkey and gets really worried about it. In fact, he is more concern about it than I do. For a moment, my funny bf was worried that I might be allergic to him. *hehe*
I feel the itch first before I see the swelling that looks like mozzie bites. The other night, it was massive blotches all over my back. It subsided only to attack back with a vengeance in the wee hours of the morning at 6ish. The intensiveness of the itch was the cause of me waking up. I then woke my Bf up and he changed the bedsheets and blanket. When I am out of the house, I am generally ok.
Oh well, going to wash all the sheets and my clothes again later.
On a different matter, Australia is a beautiful country with some sense of system but oddly enough, I miss home. I miss the sense of familiarity. I miss my Edward. I miss driving my manual car and speeding. I love to drive fast. To feel the kick. The adrenaline.
Over here, you have to adhere to the speed limit of 60km/hour at times and sometimes, it can be as slow as 40km/hour. That's soooo frigging slow like a turtle!
And you have to watch out for their funny roads and traffic lights. Pedestrian crossing is a MUST to stop even if the pedestrian hasn't gotten onto it yet. If you see a pedestrian about to step onto the zebra crossing, you have to stop.
I miss yamchas with my friends. Just hanging out over a RM1.50- RM1.70 ice tea as opposed to the AUD4-5 coffee. If you earn the money here, talking about dollar for dollar and let's not talk about conversion, the cost of living over here is definitely lower.
For example, if I work at a job that pays AUD4k a month, I can easily afford a Honda City/Civic for say about AUD30-35k. Where else, back home in Malaysia, with a RM4k a month salary, it'll take me awhile to pay off a Honda Civic/City which costs about RM90-100k depending which model and accessories.
If you work part time here in a coffee shop or anywhere, it pays more than AUD10 depending on your age. Take an average of AUD15 per hour, you can buy a meal for 2 people or at least 3 good pairs of earrings or a good hand bag and perhaps a nice jacket that's on sale.
Back home in Malaysia, for example, you work in GSC (Gold Screen Cinema) at the ticket counter, it pays less than RM5 per hour. If you're lucky enough, you might getRM5 per hour or slightly more but with that you can only afford a measly meal. If not, 3 Roti Canai and 1 Teh Tarik!
People say home is where the heart is but despite Malaysia's numerous imperfections, for now, it's still home.
Ps: Once again, I succeeded in rambling from Harry Kewell to my itch to missing Malaysia to the cost of living and back to missing home. I am forever all over the place. That's how my mind works too. Darn!

A higher standard of living gives you more bang for bukh.
Lower cost of living = Higher Standard of living

It makes all the difference in the world in talk and stand-by time. They understand that when you are actually in your new location and your knowledge increases, so too will your thoughts and ideas. With so many new cars being designed to run solely on electricity or generate electricity within the car itself, I thought it important to discuss; At the center of this technology is a thin silicon chip membrane that not only separates the liquids from the electrodes, it also has properties that repel or attract the electrolytic fluid. Also, the used battery should be disposed properly and keep it out from children to avoid any serious injury.
