Infinite uncertainties

This picture was taken from HERE.

In life, one can never ever be 100% sure about anything and everything. If you do, then you're a God or a demi-God. Ok. I kid you. You're just a minority from the rest of us uncertain people.

Much to my dismay, the uncertainty never stops. It hounds and it clings. You'll wonder if the job you're in is the best job ever or if the girl or guy you're with is the best you'll ever get. And even then, you'll wonder if she or he truly is 'the one' and still the uncertainties keeps pouring in- you wonder if the arguments will ever stop, or if you will ever be understood, or if he or she will love you less, perhaps have an affair or two, or if the relationship will get any better, any easier and the list just goes on.

You'll wonder if you love that somebody as much as you think you do, why did you do such a thing to hurt that person. Or if one truly loves someone, you really would go all the way for that person, no matter what it takes and you'll do what you think and mean what you say. That's why there's a saying- an idle mind is a devil's workshop.

Some also say that if you truly love that someone, or if that person is for you, you would know. It will hit you right smack in the gut. IF that is your case, then good for you.

He does but I struggle.

During Pre-Marriage Counselling (PMC), Uncle A said that one will always be uncertain even up to the Wedding day, to the very moment one walks right up to the altar, and even then, the uncertainty doesn't always go away.

So much for love at first sight and love is blind.

One thing I know for sure is that there is a God and despite my uncertainties and insecurities, He will see me through this- the good times and the bad times, especially the bad ones.

At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.

But there is really some couples knew he/she is the one when their eyes made contact at the 1st time.
