Feeling it..

I am really drained and tired.

You would think that in my current situation, I would be rejuvenated and refreshed, all ready to start my new job in a new year. I should be.

Maybe I need a new life away from people I know, family included. *Emoing*

Sometimes, I have so much to say, so much to rant but somehow, it doesn't feel too right to rant about one's family and air one's dirty laundry.

It's really saddening and sickening when people aren't responsible or have their hearts in the right places. And I can't shrug off the sense of filial piety. I just can't.

Nowadays, it would appear as if I've changed from a goody girl to a more not-so-goody-girl although the goody side in me is rebelling against the not-so-good side. Ok. That's getting a little bit complicated. *hehe*

No point ranting when it's just so general and aimless.

Story of my life.

Christmas at Orchard Road!!

My happening family and I made a trip to Penang on Monday til Thursday, headed back to Petaling Jaya and today, left for Singapore just so to see the much talked about Christmas lights along Orchard Road.

Not to sound like I am criticising, although the lights were pretty, I would say it's not super whoa.... or fantastic. No offense meant to all Singaporeans ya. What could be seen is that LOTS of effort have been put into this. However, to me, too many lights were used and erm... not exactly environmental friendly.

However, if you've never seen the lights, it's good to make your way down to Orchard Road to have a glimpse.

I shall let the pictures do the talking. These are for those who couldn't make it down this year.

The 3 wisemen

Trying to climb up the camel! =p

Confused??!! Where to go next..

Crazy crowd along Orchard Road.

More people!!

and even MORE!!

We started making our way back...

We walked and walked and walked...
finally, detoured into Zara.
Whilst my cousin checked out the clothes,
guess what did my uncle and stepgrandma did??

Looking at the map, right on top of the Zara display clothes!

Checked out a Lamborghini...

So, for those who didn't make it this year to Singapore..
there will always be next year!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Ne Yo's Never knew I needed lyrics

Ne Yo- Never knew I needed

(
ooh) for the way you changed my plans
for being the perfect distraction
for the way you took the idea that i have
of everything that i wanted to have
and made me see there was something missing (oh yeah)

for the ending of my first begin

(ooh yeah yeah)(ooh yeah yeah)
and for the rare and unexpected friend
(ooh yeah yeah)(ooh yeah yeah)
for the way you’re something that i never choose
but at the same time something i don’t wanna lose
and never wanna be without ever again (oh oh)

you’re the best thing i never knew i needed
so when you were here i had no idea
you’re the best thing i never knew i needed
so now it’s so clear i need you here always

my accidental happily (ever after) (oh oh oh)
the way you slime and how you comfort me (with your laughter)
i must admit you were not a part of my book
but now if you open it up and take a look
you’re the beginning and the end of every chapter (oh oh)

you’re the best thing i never knew i needed (oh)
so when you were here i had no idea
you’re the best thing i never knew i needed (that i needed)
so now it’s so clear i need you here always

who’d knew that i’d be here (who’d knew that i’d be here oh oh)
so unexpectedly (so unexpectedly oh oh)
undeniablely happy (hey)
said with you right here, right here next to me (oh)

girl you’re the..
you’re the best thing i never knew i needed (said i needed oh oh)
so when you were here i had no idea
you’re the best thing i never knew i needed (needed oh)
so now it’s so clear i need you here always
baby baby
now it’s so clear i need you here always

Vary Pasta again!!

Couple of weeks back, my sister, brother and I headed to Vary Pasta once again for dinner. Whenever my parents aren't around, my sister and I tend to have VP cravings. =)

She ordered the Caeser Salad.
Portion is a bit small but still sufficient for 3 of us.

My sis and her craving for french fries.

My must-have carbonara!

The Chicken Cordon Bleu was alright.
The outer crust was a tad too crunchy.

I had a craving for something sweet, hence, I decided to give the Creme Brulee a try.
It was only average and nothing much to shout about in terms of taste.
Was a little disappointed at the presentation. Very ordinary and plain.

My brother's grilled chicken.
Surprisingly tasted alright.

Nothing fancy. Simple yet warm and filling.

What I like is that there is NO additional service or government tax!!

So, if you are ever around Damansara Jaya area, do check it out. You can then adjourned to Coffee Connection that is just situated the row behind VP for a cup of coffee and toast bread.
